NIHR ARC Wessex is an Applied Health Research Collaboration covering the Wessex region – Hampshire, Dorset, Isle of Wight and South Wiltshire.

Its programme of research begins from October 2019 and is a collaboration between Higher Education Institutions, NHS providers, NIHR research organisations, local councils, businesses, voluntary organisations, patients and the Wessex community.

Patient and public involvement and engagement lays at the heart of the proposed programme of health research.
